Cafe du Cinema Society: What sounds good for October?

I, for one, had a blast discussing Point Blank with everyone who participated. I thoroughly enjoyed hearing all the different viewpoints on that film. So what sounds good for next month?

There are numerous possibilities, including: The Paradine Case (one of the least popular Hitchcock films, but has it been judged fairly?); Jean Renoir's La Bete Humaine (aka The Human Beast, which was remade in the U.S. as Human Desire); Diabolique (a classic French mystery); the social drama I Am a Fugitive from a Chain Gang with Paul Muni; The Miracle Worker; a couple of Marx Brothers movies; some Val Lewton chillers; and much more. So, please submit your nominations below this post!

  3. Remember, the movies I mentioned don't have to be the only nominees. If there's something else on the TCM schedule that looks interesting, just list it in a comment.

  5. I wouldn't mind seeing The Third Man. I've never seen but everyone says that it's good. I could also go for The Miracle Worker.
