  5. Paul2,

This is only the 2nd time I've played this game.I have some questions:

    1. Do you get only one chance to answer a question?
    2. What is a "free pass"?
    3. Are we allowed to check IMDb, etc?

  6. Sazball , you can answer more than once. a "Free Pass is awarded by me for special performance on special questions, and I'll mention that they earn A Free Pass which means you pass the test for the week or month. week. Yes If you have too, you can check the web, think of this as a "Open Book" form of college exam and you'll do OK. But it's fun if you don't .

  7. 1. Hal Ashby directed Harold and Maude; he had a cameo as a man with a beard
    3. Ashby was an Oscar-winning film editor before becoming a director
    9. High Society - dir. by Charles Walters/MGM; The Searchers - dir. by John Ford/Warner Bros.; The Pride & the Passion - dir. by Stanley Kramer/UA; North by Northwest - dir. by Alfred Hitchcock/MGM

  8. Eve , you rock. BTW Hal was the guy in the arcade playing with the electric trains. As for Vista Vision, as you know it was Hitch's favorite format before Panavision. Mitchell (Last weeks answer to # 3) built the first true Vista Vision cameras first used in 1956. Because of the format and The Mitchell's you got a close in and depth of field that only maybe Todd AO could match , and Mitchell built the Todd AO cameras too.
