Mystery Man...do you know him...?
Sazball recognized this week's mystery man, Rod Taylor, who was recently honored with a SAG award as part of the cast of Inglourious Basterds... he was featured in the primetime soap "Falconcrest" in the late '80s...
He's worked with such luminaries as Bette Davis (A Catered Affair), Elizabeth Taylor (Giant, Raintree County and The V.I.P.s), Burt Lancaster and David Niven (Separate Tables), Jane Fonda (Sunday in New York), Doris Day (Do Not Disturb and The Glass Bottom Boat) and Merle Oberon (Hotel)...he also starred in "Hong Kong," an early '60s TV series - and he starred in a couple of classic films -The Time Machine (1960) and The Birds (1963).
Over his career Rod Taylor has worked with an array of directors including Michelangelo Antonioni, Richard Brooks, Edward Dmytryk, Alfred Hitchcock, Delbert Mann, George Pal, Richard Quine, George Stevens and Quentin Tarantino (Taylor is pictured at left as Winston Churchill in Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds).
