Ah, the days of innocence in our culture...) Where The Boys Are has to be my favorite of the spring break movies. Loved all of the girl stars, and really loved George Hamilton! I'm with Caftan Woman -- now the adult films make me misty-eyed....ClassicBeckyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03591715859057540467noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5344878851139332715.post-89816472566230803182014-03-10T08:23:49.437-04:002014-03-10T08:23:49.437-04:00Great choices but I would knock out Palm Springs W...Great choices but I would knock out Palm Springs Weekend and replace with Beach Ball. Of all the AIP knockoffs this for me was the most zaniest and enjoyable and closest to capturing the spirit of the AIP movies. It is fast moving fun with a great cast (Edd Byrnes, Chris Noel, Aron Kincaid, Don Edmonds, Gail Gilmore, Brenda Benet, Anna Lavelle) and some really great rock acts (the Supremes, the Four Seasons, the Righteous Brothers, the Walker Brothers). Even the songs warbled by the faux rock group the Wigglers are catchy.sixtiescinemahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11148962658376426099noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5344878851139332715.post-4531622566734285452014-03-10T07:50:03.859-04:002014-03-10T07:50:03.859-04:00I fall into the nostalgic camp for "Palm Spri...I fall into the nostalgic camp for "Palm Springs Weekend".
