European though, not US/Canada, but any player can now be set to Region 0 to play any DVD. Just Google for the instructions, and you will need your DVD remote. The usual US version is 133:1 and the widescreen is 185:1. I always thought they killed off 'Nadine' too fast in the movie, and that Scott should have gotten a bigger part. She was good playing Matthau's wife and getaway driver, even though her part was over in the first few minutes. One of the great films by Don Siegel for sure.
