I have only seen a handful of episodes on local PBS stations, but I have friends who rave about AYBS. Fortunately, “Christmas Crackers” is on YouTube and I think it’s such silly fun that its enjoyment doesn’t requires previous knowledge of the characters (though that probably makes it much funnier!). Mrs. Slocombe is a hoot with her giant witch’s “hat” and Robin Hood outfit (shown in one of your photos…very nice photos, by the way). I echo Sark’s remark that you should contribute more at the Café. You know, that way we’ll know we’re being served entertaining reviews.Rick29https://www.blogger.com/profile/08358116647815569722noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5344878851139332715.post-46666455053782134532009-12-17T07:43:57.172-05:002009-12-17T07:43:57.172-05:00This is a great special for a great show. As a for instance, Mr. Grainger is short, round and tough, like a hard-boiled egg, but the pretty pastel colors of his costume are in direct contrast to his hard exterior. This was a very fun write-up, natsumi. Looking forward to more from you in the future!sarkoffagushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00922698736476674377noreply@blogger.com
