I was eleven and I'd never forgotten it. I just watched it again and was moved by George C. Scott's acting, as well as Michael Sarrazin's. The chemistry between them was very good. I understand now why I've always remembered this film. I was also intrigued with Scott’s makeup which reminded me of the preacher disguise that Kirk Douglas sported in “The List of Adrian Messenger”. toto2https://www.blogger.com/profile/09652682900471649463noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5344878851139332715.post-10969353666163825852019-02-08T16:22:08.261-05:002019-02-08T16:22:08.261-05:00Thanks for the recommendation. She was also on MAYBERRY RFD after Frances Bavier (Aunt Bee) left the show. Late in her career Miss Ghostley was nominated for an EMMY for DESIGNING WOMEN. I believe of the cast members that were listed all of them are deceased except Sue Lyon best known for LOLITA.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5344878851139332715.post-55356506804063212822019-02-07T13:12:01.809-05:002019-02-07T13:12:01.809-05:00Great movie, a shame it's not better known.Great movie, a shame it's not better known.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04598321249896138287noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5344878851139332715.post-8753156857511807582019-02-07T09:13:44.805-05:002019-02-07T09:13:44.805-05:00You have made me most excited for this movie that ...You have made me most excited for this movie that doesn't ring any bells at all.Caftan Womanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05936895555808823221noreply@blogger.com
