    1. You're smokin'! Right on all your answers, of course. I especially like your descriptions for the ones where you avoided a title or name as a courtesy to other quiz takers.

  2. OK - here I go...no match for sarkoffagus though since I see he has a long list of answers...

26 - the fly in Return of the Fly. (can't believe I remembered this!)
30 - The Creature from the Black Lagoon

    1. Nicely done, Aurora...especially with RETURN OF THE FLY and TRILOGY OF TERROR! For #34, I don't think Bela played a werewolf; there's another actor who did all three. The answer to #45 is not THRILLER. You'll need to go back to the 1970s!

    2. Aurora, per James below, your answer of Bela is correct. He played the werewolf that big Larry Talbot in THE WOLF-MAN.

  3. Is #45 "Thriller" about Jackson as a werewolf?
    Is #34 Glenn Strange?
Have you noticed I've given my answers in the form of questions? LOL

    1. Becky, for #45, think "cheesy" 1970s non-scary sequel to somewhat scary movie. Glenn is a great guess for #34, but I don't think he played a werewolf. However, another actor did all three--and appeared in more Universal horror pics than any other performer.

  4. For #34, I'm guessing you're thinking of Lon Chaney, Jr. But Lugosi did play a werewolf, in The Wolfman; we just didn't see him in the makeup.

  5. I'm stumped on #45. And as for #27, I know that "I Walked With A Zombie" was a take on "Jane Eyre", but I can't think of one of his movies that is a take on "Rebecca."

  6. Well, I made a boo boo and meant to say JANE EYRE, so you're correct! As for the Michael Jackson, you know you have a friend in me (hint).

  7. Alright! But I'm going crazy with the other thing. Your hint is not jogging my brain at all! Then again, we know that my brain sometimes simply refuses to be jogged....I'll keep thinking.

  8. 34- Lon Cheney, Jr
45 - The song is "Ben" from the movie Willard -- the song is about a killer rat.
49 James Cameron -- I think the movie is Piranhas
