  5. #6. "If we are ever to have law and order in the west all the (fill in the blank) must be taken out and shot down like dogs". Henry Hull played the newspaper editor, Major Cobb, in 1939s "Jesse James" starring Tyron Power and Henry Fonda in glorious Technicolor and 1940s "The Return of Frank James" with Fonda and Gene Tierney.

#7. Henry King directed "Jesse James" and Fritz Lang directed "The Return of Frank James".

#8. You spotted me two with "Jesse James" and "The Return of Frank James", but this dyed in the wool Fordian has no trouble coming up with "The Grapes of Wrath" and "Drums Along the Mohawk".

  9. P.S. I love that scene from an otherwise awful film, STAR TREK. In fact, I love the music so much that over the years I've bought two cds (yeah, I still buy them) with Goldsmith's soundtrack just so I could listen while I work or drive. I've always said (and still say) this is one of the best movie soundtracks ever.

Why two cds? Cause I played one into the ground.
