Trivia Time Part Deux Bonus

I love "bending" Rick29's mind with trivia questions. So Rick, just for you, a bonus question ! Get it and I'll give you a pass on all of next months questions. OK?

This actor did an Outer Limits episode before he became a huge star in the mid 60's. No, Rick, you don't have to name it. What you have to do is name him, and the mid 70's short lived show he did for Leslie Stevens. Bonus points for the number of shows. I'll give you a huge hint. He was one of a handful that did both The original Outer Limits and the revival. and is on a current hit TV show (dead giveaway). The answer will be with the others Sunday night.

  1. Oh, no, Paul2...you're bending my mind big-time! I'll going to need some help from others with this question. Can I cheat just a little by looking at the guest stars who did Outer Limits...or are you going to be mean and make me guess the actor from memory?

  2. OK, I haven't peeked at The Outer Limits DVD, but am prepared to make my guesses (after walking my dog...she was obviously inspirational). I'll guess the star is David McCallum, who was in the OT episode where he's a feeble-minded person who takes part in an evolution experiment and becomes a genius (though with bad side effects). He became a star in the 60s in The Man from UNCLE and currently stars in NCIS. I'm not sure if Leslie Stevens produced The Invisible Man in the 1970s, but that's the only McCallum show I can think of. It was shown for maybe a half-season and then was revamped as Gemini Man with Ben Murphy (from Alias Smith & Jones fame). I may be totally wrong, but, hey, my guesses at least sound feasible.

  3. Rick 29, you and your dog are 99 % correct David Mc Callum is right Leslie did produce the The Invisible Man in 1975-76 it ran for a total of 12 shows. you have a pass for October. It was the current TV show part that gave it away right?

  4. As they sang in Guys and Dolls: "Luck be a lady tonight!" By the way, my wife and I saw David McCallum on stage in London in a comedy called "Run for Your Wife." He was surprisingly funny.
