Trivia Time - Part 36

Happy Mothers Day.

I have to warn all of you that this week's Trivia Time is being written under the influence of a El Torito Mothers Day Brunch (those of you from So Cal know what I mean) so you have been warned.

Who Am I? From 1939 (the dates are very important) through 1948, I made four films with Howard Hawks. (In one of the films, Hawks did not have a director credit). I have done lots of TV from the the 1950's on. Who Am I ?

#7. Brain Buster #1.The most expensive TV commerical of the early 70's (1970) cost over a millions dollars. Who was in the spot? What was the product? And who directed it? (After someone answers the question, I'll post the spot.)

#8. Where was it first shown? Be specific.

#9. The "star" of the commerical was almost a regular on what talk show of the 1970s ?

#10 For A Free Pass for Next Week .Who replaced Larry Seymore Vincent on the old KHJ Channel 9 in Southern California Horror/Monster movie show on Saturday nights?

#11. For a Free Pass for the rest of May, named the replacement's production company.
